Camille (RYT-200) came to yoga in 2008; she sought it out as a reprieve from the competitive athletics she had been involved in prior. As Camille began to develop a connection to the asana practice of yoga, she found it's benefits run much deeper than on the physical plane. After college, she brought her mat down to Ecuador where she lived for a year teaching English. Without yoga studios in her small mountain city, Camille deepened her home yoga practice and began studying the roots of this ancient practice and it’s sister-science, ayurveda. This is where she found the spirituality and healing in the practice of yoga, on and off the mat. Upon moving to Vermont, Camille found Burlington Yoga and continued to strengthen her practice through the guidance of the teachers here. She earned her 200 hour RYT Certification in May 2016 under Piper / Candra Prabha. Camille's passions for safe alignment, tuning into the body and mind, and connecting to the infinite source of energy that dwells within can be seen in her teaching style. Her goal is for students to leave class feeling a deeper sense of self, wholeness, and inner peace.
