Carly Gonet (RYT-200) was a self-taught yogi until she moved to Vermont from Massachusetts to deepen her practice and study at Burlington Yoga under the teachings of Piper/Candra Prabha in 2017. Carly found yoga in 2013, and is forever grateful to the practice for helping her find purpose and overcome obstacles. She is now passionate about sharing the practice of yoga with others.
In 2012, Carly graduated from Framingham State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition. As a Registered Dietitian, she believes that health and wellness does not only come from what we feed our body, but also how we nurture our mind and spirit. With awareness and non-judgement, Carly strives for balance in all things both on and off her mat.
With Carly’s creative and artistic nature, yoga has been a remarkable tool for self-expression – allowing her to find freedom not only in the movement but also during the moments of stillness. Yoga continues to lead her down the path of radical acceptance and unconditional love for herself and others. She is inspired by music, movement, and nature, and believes in the power of a good sense of humor.
