Caroline was initially drawn to yoga for its physical challenge, having grown up loving the acrobatics of gymnastics and cheerleading. As she studied global arts and literature at NYU, she began to seek the holistic benefits of a spiritual yoga practice that nourished her mind, body, and soul. After moving to Vermont in 2015, the desire to deepen her practice further led her to complete training with Candra Prabha in May 2017.
With the aim to deepen self-knowledge and self-compassion, Caroline’s practice is ever evolving, but centers around honest exploration. Her Candlelight Flow class is focused on taking a step away from the visual to explore sensation using breath, movement, touch, and sound. She hopes to offer a calm and engaging class for practitioners of all skill levels.
Having coached gymnastics for four years, Caroline enjoys working with individuals to set and move toward personal practice goals, with an emphasis on alignment and ease. She looks forward to continuing her growth as a yoga teacher and practitioner with the BY community.
