David Curtis (RYT-200) has practiced yoga in Burlington off and on for over twelve years. The insight, strength, sincerity and technique of the teachers who have taught at Burlington Yoga have all influenced his practice. Though not a fan of too much self-improvement, after years of navigating the downtown obstacle course of clueless texters and oblivious shoppers, he has decided that cultivating non-judgmental awareness is a good thing. For everyone.
David works as a tutor and a freelance writer. In recent summers he has finished a Long Trail thru-hike, spent time as a Green Mountain Club caretaker, and paddled the Vermont/New Hampshire section of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. Active and encouraging, he favors accessible sequences that challenge students to develop an awareness of the body in space while connecting movement and breath. He completed the Burlington Yoga Teacher Training in 2013.
