Kaleigh Mulpeter (RYT-200) first began regularly practicing yoga in 2008 to supplement her athletic training and study of modern dance, and quickly found that the meaningful movement of asana resonated within her on a deep, spiritual level.
As a longtime participant in the arts, Kaleigh holds a deep appreciation for the importance of our kinesthetic experience and movement as a form of expression and communication with the true self. As an athlete and student of anatomy she sees the intrinsic connection between movement, breath and wellness. Her training at Burlington Yoga with Piper truly opened her world to the positive effects of hatha yoga both on and off the mat.
Yoga, for Kaleigh, is a key vehicle for self discovery and radical acceptance, which has led to deep levels of freedom and understanding she never thought possible. The transformations yoga has brought about in Kaleigh’s life have ignited within her a dedication to the practice and an intention to share the many varied benefits of practicing asana with everyone. Kaleigh is excited about sharing her practice and the gifts of yoga, and has a talent for making the asana practice accessible and meaningful for every level of practitioner.
Her teaching style is active, alignment-based and upbeat; her classes are thoughtfully crafted with the highest physical and spiritual benefit to students in mind.
