Nalini was drawn to the practice of yoga as a therapeutic way of honoring the body and quieting the mind. Proper alignment, steady breath work, and the grounded nature of yoga has propelled her teachings and allow for each student to experience depth and inspiration on and off their mat.
In 2012 Nalini stumbled into Burlington Yoga and immediately felt at home in the studio and in her own body. She gravitated toward Lakshmi's teachings that have allowed her to establish a sense of balance and understanding within the yogic tradition.
In 2015, Nalini spent the fall at the Sivananda Ashram in Grass Valley, California, where she completed her first 200 hour RYT program. Having lived a yogic lifestyle for these months, she was able to incorporate the classical teachings into her daily life once she returned to the east coast.
In 2016 she completed two additional teacher training certifications, in Vinyasa and restorative yoga. Nalini is a natural teacher who focuses on living gently and noticing beauty and divinity in each moment. Her classes are a blend of Vinyasa and classical Hatha- allowing for each practice to evolve into something deeper physically and mentally.
