Rhiannon Kim (RYT-200) has been teaching at Burlington Yoga since she completed teacher training in 2012. Since completing the training, Rhiannon has sought out more education and experience in yoga, meditation, and mindfulness: attending workshops and retreats with Vasat Lad, Thich Nhat Hanh, Candra Prabha, and others. Her style of teaching is influenced and inspired by Piper (Candra Prabha) and has been described as intentional, calm, and mindful of body, breath and emotion.
Rhiannon spends most of her time teaching speech, language, emotional awareness, self-regulation, mindfulness, and more in her role as a speech language pathologist. She is currently teaching a course in Mindfulness and Helping Skills at the University of Vermont's College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
Rhiannon's beginner class is accessible to all; a lighthearted opportunity to dive into the basics and fundamentals of yoga. Her Hatha Flow class class combines the traditional elements of Hatha Yoga with the synchronized breath directed movements of a more vigorous Flow. Modifications are offered to ensure an accessible practice for all.
