Sarah (RYT 200) began practicing yoga 10 years ago to balance and strengthen her ballet training. As a dancer, she is passionate about correct alignment and developing deep core strength to build a strong foundation. Sarah believes that yoga is a powerful tool for self- awareness, discovery, and transformation.
Training with Piper at Burlington Yoga has deepened her practice and understanding of yoga and its philosophy on many levels, providing her with the ability to both meet the individual needs of students as well as create an accessible, welcoming environment for the entire class.
Though her classes are upbeat and dynamic, she maintains awareness of connecting movements with breath and cultivating a mindful, balanced flow. Her classes consist of pranayama, asana, and meditation. Sarah is currently studying Yoga Therapy and Ayurvedic Yoga. She is excited to share her practice and teaching with practitioners of all levels!
