Join us for a fun and dynamic practice that will help you get ready to hit the slopes! This flow-style workshop is designed to stretch and strengthen the muscles and joints that power the body in downhill skiing and snowboarding.
Class will begin with an energizing sequence to build heat, followed by a series of poses targeting key muscle groups in the legs, back, and torso. Poses will focus on increasing flexibility, releasing tension, and building balance and core stability. We’ll emphasize proper alignment and muscle engagement through fluid movement, while challenging agility and stamina with longer holds and deep breathing.
This workshop offers students the time and space to prepare body and mind for a safe and blissful season on the mountain this winter. Open to all levels.
