This gentle set of exercises are a complement to any yoga practice. Instruction focuses on efficient means of joint articulation and improved body mechanics that encourage the natural flow of qi through the congenital meridians.
The workshop will include a comprehensive introduction to Qi Gong; instruction focuses on postural alignment and stretching as well as fundamental breathing and body control principles to help establish a strong foundation for advancement within the Doaist internal arts.

About Kimberly McNeil
For more than 16 years I have dedicated myself to the study of martial arts, health sciences and fitness. While I was taking my first steps in my fitness journey, I had simultaneously discovered Qi Gong. My chosen disciplines of Aikido, CrossFit, Gymnastics and dance are all enormously engaging for me but none so potent and formative as this internal art. As a consummate mover I found art in all of the disciplines I pursued, however none truly revealed the deeper connection I sensed existed between my physical body and what I now understand to be the energetic realm.
My first few seminars in Qi Gong quickly resulted in intensive study in a two year teaching certification program under Damo Mitchell at Lotus Nei Gong School of Daoist Arts. Convinced in its power and utility, this study has led me to share this art as a modality for obtaining health and wellness.
In addition to being a certified gymnastics and fitness trainer, as well as nutrition coach at Moving Arts & Fitness, I currently hold a BS. in Biology and Society from Cornell University and the rank of 2nd degree black belt under the United States Aikido Federation.
