Kate (RYT-200) started practicing yoga in college and was immediately drawn to the mind-body union that is cultivated in the practice. While it was the physical challenge that initially attracted her to the practice of yoga, the mental component was transformational. Through movement and meditation, she nurtured a deeper connection to herself and to others, experiencing what it means to be truly present.
Kate completed her 200 hour teacher training with Candra Prabha at Burlington Yoga in 2018. Candra's attention to alignment and deep understanding of the tradition has greatly influenced Kate’s practice. In her teaching, Kate brings sensitivity to each student's circumstance, making the practice accessible to everyone.
