Michela Blue began practicing yoga as part of a stress management course in high school. She was drawn in by the freedom it afforded from her competitive sporting activities . It represented a harmonizing of the individual and the collective and allowed her to live more rooted to that which is real. She had always learned to push yourself and your body beyond its limitations leading to many injuries and undue stress. Yoga taught her to build and experience a healthy relationship between mind and body.
