Additional professional development includes: trauma-informed educational practices, mindfulness-based practices, engaging active learners, and understanding cultural values and differences.
She teaches courses in Mindfulness Based Practice at the University of Vermont and St. Michael's College and embeds this work into her speech and language pathology practice. Her work focuses on fostering self-compassion, self-care, self-awareness, and an outward expansion of these heart-centered practices. Rhiannon's classes are lighthearted, focused and encouraging; offering modifications along the way to ensure an accessible practice for all. Her style of teaching is influenced and inspired by Piper (Candra Prabha) and has been described as intentional, calm, and mindful of body, breath and emotion. <Full Instructor List |
