Have you been curious about how to use essential oils? Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced teacher you'll benefit from learning about this natural tool to assist the body/mind in getting the most out of asanas and meditation.

In this introductory class you will learn the basics of aromatherapy and how essential oils affect physiology as well as energy. Participants will have an opportunity to sample various oils and learn general guidelines for safely incorporating them into your yogic experience and that of your students.
About the Presenter:
Dr. Julieta I. Rushford Santiago has a Bachelor's in Science from the University of Massachusetts (1990), and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, Georgia (1994). Dr. Rushford is trained in ChiroYoga, "12 Stages of Healing", and has added essential oils to her work for the past 8 years through the technique by Dr. Carolyn Mein: "Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils". She is married to Dr. Matt Rushford and together they have operated Rushford Family Chiropractic for over 24 years. They have one teenage son, Storm.
