Led by Rhiannon
"Self-compassion is extending compassion to one's self in instances of perceived inadequacy, failure, or general suffering." - Kristin Neff
How do we learn to embrace the messiness of our minds and the world around us? How do we get out of shame-spirals that feel unending? How can we learn how to navigate feelings of anxiousness and worry without becoming completely overwhelmed?
Join Rhiannon E-RYT 200, RYT-500 for a two-hour workshop to learn ways to create a sense of inner calm. We will move through guided meditations, practice gentle yoga, and have time for discussions. We will learn how to tune into the inner experiences to better navigate conflict, challenging conversations, and strong emotions.
We will learn ways to bring this into our personal and professional lives as well as how to build this into our asana practices.
Journaling and intention setting will support your practices beyond the workshop. No prior experience is required. All bodies and all beings are invited.
