In this weekly workshop we will engage and explore basic Yogic and Buddhist teachings that build our self awareness, resilience, and compassion. We will learn pranayama to energize and to soothe. We will discuss the ways in which Avidya (ignorance, incorrect knowledge) block us from being our fullest selves, and awakening to the present moment.
Through slow, gentle movements and guided relaxation we will begin to sense the flow of information present in each moment. By attuning to this information and intelligence we can open the conversation with sensations and feelings; and find ways to navigate overwhelmingly strong emotions.
This workshop is open to all- no experience necessary.
