Yoga for Neck and Shoulders: October 2, 2022

Neck and shoulder pain is a very common experience, and can lead to a number of other events including headache, TMJ, anxiety, and a compromised immune system. Contributing factors include stress, injury, poor posture, and even sitting for long periods of time.
In this one-hour workshop we will explore optimal alignment for the head, neck, spine, and shoulders; and basic movement and breathing patterns to help us unwind tension. We will learn modifications for during a yoga practice, and simple release techniques that can be practiced at home, work, and before a yoga or meditation practice in just a few minutes.
All levels welcome.
