GraceGrace (RYT-200) first used yoga as a therapy for recovering athletes. She studied athletic training and nutrition at UVM and found yoga as a gentle way to improve flexibility and alignment throughout the healing process. She began to deepen her personal practice in graduate school, studying exercise physiology. The ability of the mind and body to work together to reach new goals was inspiring.
Grace grew up playing sports year-round and has always loved being physically active. The addition of yoga gave her an appreciation for stillness, mindfulness, and spiritual growth. Completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Burlington Yoga gave her a whole new appreciation for the practice. Yoga is a beautiful lifestyle with endless lessons to learn. Piper and Burlington Yoga’s commitment to postural awareness and alignment resonated with Grace. She loves the way certain poses highlight areas of opportunity for strength and growth. Yoga is a challenge as well as an inspiration. She hopes to share this inspiration with future students. <Full Instructor List |
