This all-levels class invites you to move with increasing awareness, explore sensations with open curiosity, and deepen your relationship with your breath. Included in the practice are nourishing long holds and flowing sequences designed to open and balance the body, breath, and mind.
We use various positional therapy techniques to access specific regions and tissues, as well as contract-relax and strain-counterstrain. These procedures combined with diaphragmatic breathing and a spirit of inquiry, produce dramatic and lasting results.
This class is ideal for improving mobility and flexibility; managing stress and anxiety; improving sleep, and growing our capacity for centering attention as with ADHD. We focus on proper breathing techniques, therapeutics for releasing areas of chronic tension, relaxation, and shifting our holding patterns.
