Taught by Dr. Teves and Piper

Please Register on our schedule page for in Studio and Zoom classes.

Welcome to our foundation class and the beginning of an exploration of our body's multiple diaphragms, starting with an anatomy lesson on the respiratory/thoracic diaphragm. Learn how to properly recruit the thoracic diaphragm for breathing, strength, power, balance, and overall vitality. Discover the connection between the respiratory diaphragm, the pelvic floor diaphragm, and all the diaphragms in the body.

Dr. Teves graduated from Touro University California (College of Osteopathic Medicine) in 2009. She completed her residency and board certification in Family Medicine at UHS - Wilson Regional Hospital in Johnson City, NY. She earned her BA from the University of California at Berkeley. She holds an MFA degree in poetry and literature from Bennington College, Vermont. She has trained extensively in yoga and martial arts.

Experience the power and function of all the major diaphragms for vibrant health. No prior experience is needed. Please come prepared with comfortable clothing; all props will be provided for you!
