Gentle Yoga For Beginners with Kate Lee: June 2, 2019

This class is perfect for those new to yoga, or for anyone wanting to slow down and revisit the basics. We will move slowly through foundational postures while building awareness of breath and body. Longer holds and slow movement will allow for a comprehensive understanding of alignment concepts. Slow, conscious transitions will be cued in connection with the breath.
This fun, light-hearted class style encourages students to ask questions throughout the course of the sequence. We will end with a series of restorative postures, making use of a variety of props to support the body. This state of relaxation will allow students to further observe the benefits of the practice, while becoming effortlessly aware of the entire body.
All levels welcome and all props provided.
